outside seeping in

A wise (and marvelously outfitted) man once sang. "War is stupid and people are stupid and love means nothing in some strange quarters." Yes, it was Boy George and that tune keeps pulsing through my head. The thing is, that while I think we oughtn't to have ever gone to war in the first place and fully support all the protests, what I'm really hoping now is that we just get this whole thing over with quickly. Get Saddam out of there and then...once that's settled, kick our egomanaical and unelected president out of office for going against the wishes of the majority and making the rest of the world feel that hating Americans is a cool past time. Not that I'm surprised he'd go against the majority. Any decent person would have seen that he'd lost back in 2000 and gracefully stepped down.
