pumpernickel
It's a fun word to say, but even a better one to eat. G made a very yum loaf yesterday and it's been quickly disappearing. That's the kind of day we've had. Walking about on little errands in the hood and then home again for a pumpernickel snack.
In related news, Sharper Image rocks! Sure, they may be a bit pricey, but their customer service is stellar. G bought an Ionic Breeze well over two years ago which recently stopped working. He had originally purchased it from a third party website for less than half price of the same model in a store, but when I called to report the problem, SI just had me send back the broken one (by attaching a pre-paid mailing receipt which they sent me) and then mailed me back a gift certificate for the full price of a new one. (This almost tempted us into purchasing something a bit more exciting, but the Breeze actually works very well and we didn't want to give that up.) I should also mention that no receipts had been saved. This all happened thanks to the fact that my old address was stored in their central computer. Doubleplus Good! (OK, maybe my flirting with the home office rep helped the process along, but that's just my phone personality. Can't turn that off, can I?)
