I remember Carlos telling me that he noticed leaves falling during magor transitions in his life.

Lately, I've been noticing small dead animals all over the city. Baby birds and mice that've fallen victim to the automotive dinosaurs that currently rule our streets.

Not quite the same imagery, but for some reason my mind makes a connection. I think it may be that I'm afraid of losing an important part of myself.

I just wish I knew what it was...
