backed up

There's scribbled notes on the front door telling us that the plumbing is backed up and that there's no water use until tomorrow morning. Late tomorrow morning.

Ah well. At least we have a roof over our heads. Our brief taste of San Francisco summer is done and the wind blows cold again, but we are warm inside these walls. Things could be much worse.

No way Jose! We're all bitchin' about it being so cold now after a week of high 60s sunshine, but I haven't forgotten the cold winters of my youth.
