dusk walk

Left work quite late tonight, just as the brightest stars became visible over the city skyline. The walk from work to the subway takes me through ten blocks, from low to high rise district. There's one block where the buildings jump from three to thirty stories becoming a cliff of sparkling lights in front of me. I enjoy this part of the day, and not just because work is done. I like the feeling that I'm walking into the future.
